Aubrie Serena Adams, PhD

Aubrie Adams (PhD, University of California, Santa Barbara; MA, California State University, Sacramento) is an Assistant Professor of Digital Communication and Culture in the Communication Studies Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Brie's research focuses on the intersection of New Media and Interpersonal Communication. More specifically, she uses mixed methods to study computer-mediated communication, text interaction, digital games, game-based learning, media effects, and social media.
